- 1 tbsp. Worcester Sauce
- ½ c. Apple Cider Vinegar (Non-Pstzd.)
- 1/2 c Honey (Non-Pstzd.) or ½ c. Organic Maple Syrup
- ½ c Fancy Molasses
- ¼ c Cooking Sherry ( or Jack Daniels for a Unique Flavor)
- 1/2 c water
- 1 Small (5.5 oz.) Can of Hunts Tomato Paste
- 1 Package of Sass! Kickin’ BBQ Sauce Mix
Whisk briskly to combine ingredients in pot, and simmer on medium low, cooking until sauce thickens, about 15 min. Remove from heat, pour into a quart jar, seal or, you can use right away to baste your meat of choice on grill. Keeps for 2 months in fridge....but it usually is long gone before that! ;-)
Tips to Customize this BBQ sauce! To make it less sweet, cut the Honey back to 1/3 cup. To decrease the heat, add 2 Tbsp. of Ketchup, to increase the Heat, add 1 tsp. Hot Sauce, for more Tang, up the Worchester by 1 Tbsp. If you like it Garlicky, add 1/2 tsp. powdered Garlic or Fresh, minced Organic Garlic!
